Portland, Oregon – Sunshine is proud to announce it has become an official partner of Oregon State Athletics with its newly signed multi-year partnership with the university and Beaver Sports Properties, a property of Learfield.

“We are thrilled to enhance our longstanding partnership with OSU Athletics,” Sunshine President and CEO, Jason Frank said. “Sunshine enjoys a great relationship with the outstanding OSU faculty, staff, and students who are focused on making our great products better and even more sustainable. I look forward to increasing our presence on campus, continuing to provide opportunities for students, and growing the relationship.”

The family owned company, who recently developed the high energy and recovery drink Sunshine Power with OSU Athletics’ nutrition and strength and conditioning teams, kicks off its partnership with branded signage, radio and social media surrounding OSU athletic events starting this month.

“This is an exciting time for Sunshine to officially partner with OSU Athletics and share the story of our amazing brand with sports enthusiasts and Beaver fans all over the country,” Frank added. “There are many synergies between the dairy industry and OSU’s agricultural program making this a natural partnership.”

About Sunshine

Sunshine was established in 1935 by a Greek restaurateur, John Karamanos, who started the dairy delivery service for his friends in the Portland food industry. Today, Sunshine remains a fourth generation, family-owned, independently operated dairy processor with personalized delivery service for its customers in the Pacific Northwest. Sunshine has continued its storied tradition through a commitment to serving local food service customers, food manufacturer partners, retailers and co-pack customers with an uncompromising dedication and commitment to high quality, naturally produced products. Sunshine uses a unique, cold bowl separation process that may take longer, but results in superior products because the milk is only heated during pasteurization. The taste is clean, fresh, and never over processed. In the mid-1990s, Sunshine became the first dairy in the NW area to process only rBST Free Dairy and is also Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth.
